The diving
Going diving off the Northeastern coast of Bali is an experience that will stick with you forever. Firstly, there is the wreck of USAT Liberty. This magnificent wreck is located just off the beach, resting on a sandy slope. The view of the wreck when you stand in shallow water putting your fins on, is out if this world. Because it is resting on sand, all the fish and coral life is attracted to it, making it a wonderful eco-system theming with life! This is a MUST do dive on Bali.

The area offers more than 30 different dive sites, including another wreck, and natural and artificial reefs with lots and LOTS of fish. The black volcanic sand is full of macro treasures like frogfish, pygmy seahorse, ghost-pipefish, harlequin shrimp, blue-ringed octopus, bob-tailed squid, nudibranch and the list goes on and on and on…

Regardless of your experience, the diving in the area will blow you away. And the little dive resort on the beach will be the perfect place to get down in gear between the diving. You will be in the hands of a team of dive professionals with a great passion for the ocean and for making their divers go home with an urge to come back as soon as possible

Location
Compared to the hustle and bustle in the Southern part of Bali, the Northeast coast is one massive chill-pill. Here, travellers come to dive, relax in the beautiful resorts and perhaps take a hike on Mt. Batur and enjoy the impressive view to volcano Mt. Agung.
With Tulamben 10 minutes away, and Kubu just 800m up the road, there are some local choices of places to dine. But to be honest, we recommend the restaurant at the dive center resort. The food is really good!
