The diving
If you prefer to do the academic part of the PADI Open Water Diver course in your own country with your local dive center, nothing is stopping you to do so.

The PADI referral course allow you to start with the theory and pool sessions at home, and continue with your 4 open water dives at another PADI dive center, anywhere in the world. Only rule is, you have to complete it all within 12 months.

If you are looking for a warm and chilled place to do your 4 open water dives in Asia, Nusa Lembognan is a pretty solid choice! Besides the island being awesome in so many ways, the diving here is great! The abundance and the diversity is top notch. Jump in at the coral gardens, hang out in the clear and ridiculously blue water and take in the scenery of a healthy reef, full of life and colour. There’s very few things that are as cool as a thriving reef, and you find them around Nusa Lembognan. It’s a pretty awesome scenery to be doing your course in. But it might be hard to keep your eyes on the instructor with all that cool stuff going on around you.

Location
Close to Bali, lies the island of Nusa Lembongan, where people gather to enjoy world class diving and surfing, quiet sandy beaches and lazy island atmosphere.
But don’t let the funky restaurents and wifi deceive you. This island is full of loose chickens, colourful locals and an everlasting scent from the little Balineese Hindu temples (Pura’s) that are nestled in every little crack between houses and restaurants. It's local and cultural! Each week guests and staff from all the dive shops gather at Blue Corner Bar. Right on the beach with an infinity pool, bean bags and bonfire: a place for a good barefooted night of drinks and stories. Check it out!

Your resort
Is a little atmospheric oasis! There’s a lovely pool to hang out in (sometimes you will be accompanied by divers training their skills). We are big fan of their eco friendly approach. They recycle, grow their own fruits and have the Aquatic Alliance research team based at the resort. Daily Yoga classes are on offer on site as well. Uhmm!
The bungalows can be fully booked in high season. It is good to book 3 months in advance.

Your Room
The bungalows have a cool outside bathroom and a simple clean double bed bedroom. It is not white shiny Hilton, but a cozy bungalow with your own porch, where they are happy to serve breakfast - in your hammock of course!
