Fundiving Koh Lipe

Koh Lipe is what travelers claim that most islands in Thailand were 10 years ago. No roads and cars, clean powder white sand, little cool beach bars buzzing with chilled backpackers and the feeling of being somewhere “out there”. There is no doubt that it is one of the best hidden escapes in Thailand, most people get off the boats on the islands before Koh Lipe, big mistake! As far as diving goes, what you will see underwater just off the main beach are some very healthy reefs full of colorful soft coral gardens, and an amazing topography. It is the Andaman Sea, meaning that the diversity of fish here is very large.

No doubt you will see many different species on one single dive. The variation of the dive sites is just as great, and the best part is that you rarely turn up at one site and find another boat there. It is that hidden and unspoiled!

Staying in the cozy huts of Moonlight resort, you’ll be hanging in your own hammock in a funky bamboo bungalow. The bungalows are without hot water and air-con. But not to fear, it is a hot island!
