If you are looking for the ultimate paradise for backpackers, Koh Tao is the place to go. The diving is relaxed and easy with beautiful reefs full of colorful corals and fish. Koh Tao is known for having a large number of whale sharks visiting each year, your chance of seeing one of these friendly giants here is very good. But even for divers with no luck on the whale shark front, the diversity on the dive sites is good enough to keep any diver entertained.
Staying with Silver Sands Resort on land, you will be enhanced by an island with no clocks (except for the time to dive-clock), long white sandy beaches, hammocks and bean bags under the trees and a nightlife that never stops. Most travelers end up spending weeks, where just a few days were planned.
