This is the same dive destination as Fundiving Khao Lak, only difference is there’s few more days and dives in this package. Slightly the better option we think. Fundiving Khao Lak is really fundiving The Similan Islands. If you have looked into the diving in Thailand, you will know that the Similans are rated as one of the absolute top destinations there. The reefs are far away from the mainland, which means that the dive sites are visited by the bigger pelagic animals coming in to feed on the reefs. The water is usually stunningly clear, and the reefs, even the ones nearer the mainland, are covered in corals and fish. A day trip to the Similans, Koh Bon and the nearby reefs is suitable for all levels. You will need to depart from Khao Lak if you want to do day trips to the Similans and the surrounding area.
Khao Lak itself is a bonus to the experience. It is a very relaxed place, a truly fascinating town where divers from all nations meet to dive the most famous sites in Thailand. Stay at the peaceful Palm Garden Resort for the ultimate rest before diving.
